Search & Rescue SAR Group

The deployment team

This team provides the actual Search and Rescue capability of Rescue Global.

SAR Group is made up of emergency service professionals from all over the world, united and trained by Rescue Global. The majority are volunteers, released by their main employers for the duration of a deployment. Employers such as Fire and Rescue services, Hospitals, Paramedic Teams worldwide, benefit hugely by having their staff train with and deploy with Rescue Global.

A core of full time staff are employed to provide the leadership and day to day running of the organisation, as well as Team Leaders or SAR Group.

The training received by SAR Group members ranks amongst the very best in the world, with members training alongside the likes of national fire service academy’s, coast guards, rescue swimmers, smoke jumpers, paramedics, A&E, ER and trauma specialist, mountain rescue and specialist military rescue teams from all over the world.

Rescue Global provides a rolling program of training in the main regions in which we are based, London (EU), New York (USA), Dubai (MENA), Hong Kong (Asia Pacific).

• Working at height – Rope rescue
• Hazardous environment survival
• Marine, Arctic, Jungle and Desert operations
• USAR – Urban Search and Rescue operations
• Breathing Apparatus Search and Rescue operations
• Working in water – flood and fast water rescue operations
• Casualty extraction, when trapped by injury, structure or weather
• Search, Rescue and Casualty location in any environment, worldwide
• Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence, Leadership and Incident Command
